DISPUTES, COMPETENT JURISDICTIONS AND APPLICABLE LAW

In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the judicial order of the district of Nivelles (Belgium) will have jurisdiction. They will apply Belgian law.
However, the ODR platform, created by the European Commission, makes it possible to resolve disputes arising from e-commerce outside the courts. The entire process takes place online. It is thus possible to avoid lengthy and costly litigation, which strengthens the confidence of European consumers regarding purchases beyond the borders of their own country: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When you fill out a complaint form, you are asked to enter a reference email address: case@theroad.cc. Please only use this address to complete the dispute form, and not to contact our company.

DISPUTES - European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR)

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF LITIGATION?

There is an alternative online dispute resolution platform of the European Commission: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

This platform was set up by the European Commission and is intended for consumers and professionals carrying out online transactions in the European Union with the aim of facilitating alternative dispute resolution. When you fill out a complaint form on http://ec.europa.eu/odr, you will be asked to enter a referring email address: case@theroad.cc. Please only use this address to complete the dispute form, and not to contact our company.

Under the conditions provided for by law and in the context of distance selling, the buyer has a withdrawal period of 14 clear days from delivery of his order which will be reimbursed against return of the products delivered. The buyer must return the goods in their original condition. The return of goods is carried out at the customer's own risk. We advise the customer to keep proof validated by the carrier used that the goods have been collected and returned to The Road, until The Road actually receives the return package. The costs of returning goods are covered by The Road for orders returned from Belgium (and only from Belgium).

A “returns” sheet will be attached to each order, explaining in detail the procedure to follow to return an order that is not suitable for one or another reason. However, you can consult and download this return form here for Belgium, and here for the rest of the world.
