The Road — Evolution of a Logo

So Scott had an idea of integrating the road with traditional disciples chalice.

Karen thought to simplify it to make it more iconic and focus only on the cross.

Rob developed the concepts into a draft logo.

Feedback to extend the road further into the background.

  1. I like the idea of the cross not being confined to the cup. What that means is I like the “main” road coming from out of the cup at the bottom right and extending beyond the cup at the top. The bold type for “The Road” seems easier to read than the “grungified” type. I like the Black “The Road” and “Christian Church” in white on the red chalice best. It is a clean sharp look. The green chalice is intriguing because of the green chalice we are ordering to use in worship. I still think the red is a recognizable logo and is more vivid. I think the road itself expresses the message of our church, I don’t know if the added people add anything, it may look cluttered.
    Peace on your journey, Carolyn

  2. Wow – what a powerful visual. I’ve been praying for the new church and hope all is well. Love to you all as you travel His Road….
